Many parents want to reduce screen time without taking away the stories, music and calm that screens often provide.

The Fabli, designed by Thibault Lerailler and the team at Punctuate Design, is a screen-free audio companion for children from birth to ten. It was a winner in the toys for kids category at the 2026 European Product Design Award.

It is meant for every part of the day, at home or on the move. Children use it to dream, learn, relax, calm down and create.

Content grows with the child. Stories in which the child is the hero sit alongside soothing music and mindful meditations, designed to support emotions, independence and confidence.

The player itself is intuitive and robust, with a sensory feel suited to small hands. It is eco-designed throughout, with durable materials and replaceable parts, and is designed, manufactured and assembled in Quebec.

The Fabli shows that taking the screen away can leave more room for imagination, not less.
