Every object has a story. We look closer.
Objects shape our lives, often without us noticing. The chair we return to, the light we work beneath, the tools we use each day—all began with an idea and a series of decisions about how something should look, feel, and function.
Objectified is an international online magazine exploring product design and the people behind it. Through interviews, profiles, and editorial features, we uncover the thinking, experimentation, and craftsmanship that turn ideas into objects.
We cover furniture, lighting, technology, everyday tools, mobility, and the materials and processes that connect them. Our curiosity extends from an independent maker’s first collection to innovations that could change how we live.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring people closer to design: to reveal its human stories, make its ideas accessible, and encourage a more thoughtful relationship with the things we create and use.
We give a voice to established designers and emerging talents across cultures and disciplines. We ask what inspired their work, which problems they set out to solve, and what they discovered along the way.
We believe good design deserves thoughtful conversation. Beauty matters, alongside usefulness, durability, accessibility, and the consequences of production. We explore these questions with curiosity and a willingness to look beyond the finished photograph.
Our Editorial Approach
Objectified brings together writers, designers, makers, and photographers with different perspectives. Contributions undergo editorial review before publication. We value accurate reporting, clear attribution, and honest discussion, and welcome corrections.
Our features include independently selected projects and work recognised by design awards. Award recognition offers a starting point for discovery; it does not guarantee coverage.
Objectified is published by Farmani Group Co., Ltd., Thailand. The wider Farmani Group network includes the European Product Design Award and other creative awards. We disclose relevant connections when covering affiliated programs.
Advertising and paid features are clearly identified. Editorial selection and commercial partnerships are handled transparently, with respect for our readers and the people whose work we present.
