Jewellery is usually designed to be seen from the front. It sits on the body like a picture in a frame, with one best angle.

Spatial Fields, by Tehran-based architect and designer Roshanak Sajadian, abandons that idea. The collection received a Top Design distinction for jewellery at the 2026 European Product Design Award.

It begins with an architectural question: how far can a structure expand before it becomes space? Sajadian’s training shapes how she thinks about volume, proportion and movement.

A remark by Zaha Hadid about there being 360 degrees to work with became the collection’s starting point. Each piece has no fixed front and no single viewpoint.

Instead, the forms extend outward from the body into the surrounding space. As the wearer moves, volume and presence shift, so the experience is never static.

Through her practice, Lavish By Roshi, Sajadian treats wearable design as a spatial composition rather than ornament. Spatial Fields makes that approach unmistakable.
